GDF-15 levels were comparable between normal weight, overweight, and obese groups in both men (p=0.43) and women (p=0.07).
s(P)RR levels were significantly higher in obese men (p<0.001) and women (p=0.001) compared to normal weight and overweight groups.
In women, positive association found between GDF-15 and s(P)RR in overweight (beta=0.33, p=0.001) and obese groups (beta=0.21, p=0.027), but not in men.
