Nigeria's electric power sector faces significant challenges in ensuring efficient and reliable distribution of electricity. This study examines the impact of technological factors on the productivity of electric power distribution in Osun State, Nigeria. Using a mixed-method approach, the research investigates the relationships between technological factors, such as grid modernization, automation, and the productivity of electric power distribution. The findings indicate that the adoption of advanced technologies could significantly enhance the efficiency and reliability of electric power distribution. The study also highlights the need to address challenges of inadequate infrastructure, limited technical expertise, and high maintenance costs. The paper concludes with recommendations for policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders to promote the adoption of advanced technologies and improve the productivity of electric power distribution in Nigeria.
