Parametric interaction of a propagating dipolar spin wave envelope soliton (carrier frequency ωₛ, duration τₛ, and velocity νₛ) with electromagnetic pumping (frequency ωₚ0ex0ex=0ex0ex2ωₛ), localized in a spatial region of width L, has been observed in magnetic films for the first time. The necessary frequency bandwidth of interaction was guaranteed by choosing L<|νₛ|τₛ. The interaction results in soliton amplification if the soliton arrives at the pumping region not more than 1μs after the pumping has been switched on. Otherwise, the soliton is scattered by short-exchange-dominated spin waves of frequency ωₛ parametrically excited by the localized pumping.
