Thirty-four patients who had received radiotherapy for Hodgkin's disease had repeat lymphangiography eleven to forty months after initial treatment to follow the abdominal and pelvic nodes when contrast material from the initial lymphangiogram was inapparent. Thirteen were in remission; in the remainder, signs or symptoms of abdominal or systemic disease had developed. The yield of positive second lymphangiography in asymptomatic patients was small. Fewer than half with signs or symptoms suggesting recurrent disease showed positive lymphangiograms. Suggestive changes on postlymphangiographic follow-up correlated well with positive repeat studies and served to define the extent of disease.
