Identifies pulsars in high declination regions, suggesting enhanced detection methods.
A search for pulsars was carried out using the Large Phased Array (LPA) radio telescope at a frequency of 110.4 MHz with a time resolution of 3.072 ms, a frequency resolution of 19.5 kHz and a bandwidth of 2.5 MHz. The survey was performed in the area with declinations of + 53^∘ < δ < + 87^∘ . The viewing area was ~4100 deg2. The search was carried out using the Fourier power spectra. To increase the sensitivity, multiple observations were performed in each direction in the sky, and the resulting power spectra were summed up. This made it possible to increase the sensitivity by about 5–10 times, depending on the direction in the sky. A blind search detected 35 known pulsars. For 33 pulsars the flux density was estimated.
