The theory of dielectric polarization of polar liquids is used to calculate the dielectric constants of water and some alcohols. Quasi-rigid coordination models, based upon x-ray structural investigations, are employed in the calculation of a function g which measures the orientational correlation between neighbors in the liquid. It is pointed out that the correlation function g is closely related to the thermodynamic ``abnormality'' of polar liquids.
