The reaction of alkylamines with exfoliated MoS2 leads to the novel series of organic−inorganic nacomposites Li0.1MoS2(HNR2)y in which the amine is densely intercalated in the disulfide interlaminar spaces. The products are mixed ionic-electronic conductors with electrical conductivities at room temperature as high as 10-1 S cm-1.
