Does prenatal 2D ultrasound assessment of fetal myocardial wall thickness predict perinatal mortality and postnatal hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in diabetic pregnancies?
Prenatal measurement of interventricular septum thickness ≥4.5 mm or an IVS/LMWT ratio ≤1.18 by 2D ultrasound in diabetic pregnancies is predictive of fetal hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and associated with higher perinatal mortality.
