This special issue was designed to encourage scholars to revise manuscripts that have previously been reviewed but not found a fit in other journals and to adapt their research to contribute to discussions on pedagogy, curricula, and mentorship in higher education. The end goal: enhance and advance teaching and learning in leisure, parks, recreation, sport, tourism, and related fields. Authors approached their work with a new lens that required them to consider the ways their scholarly endeavors would support student growth and learning to advance current understanding of events, theories, and experiences.
