Randomized trial demonstrates the effectiveness of an event-triggered control scheme for uncertain nonlinear systems, indicating broader application potential.
This paper proposes an event-triggered control scheme for a class of uncertain strict-feedback nonlinear systems. By leveraging High-Order Fully Actuated (HOFA) system theory, a novel event-triggering mechanism is developed. Unlike conventional HOFA-based approaches that depend on variations in control inputs to define triggering conditions, the proposed scheme relies on changes in the system output, offering enhanced flexibility in the design of event-triggered conditions for uncertain nonlinear systems. Using Lyapunov stability theory, the uniform boundedness of all closed-loop system states is established, while effectively avoiding Zeno behavior. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is validated through simulation studies.
