Investigates how gaming preferences relate to personality traits and mental health outcomes.
This study investigated the relationships between gaming preferences, personality traits, and mental health outcomes among 74 participants. Data were collected through a survey that assessed gaming behaviors and narrative preferences alongside standardized psychological measures, including the Big Five Inventory-2 (BFI-2), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), and the Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II). Statistical analyses included Spearman's rank-order correlations, chi-square tests of independence, and General Linear Models (GLM), and multinomial logistic regression.
