Randomized trial demonstrates improved science engagement in elementary school, suggesting effective teaching strategies.
The Supervised Internship provides the graduate with contact with their future field of activity, an essential stage for teacher training, where through observation, proposition and development of didactic-reflective practices, they can begin their own construction, how to be a teacher. The research is a report of experiences lived during the Supervised Curricular Internship of Biological Sciences in Elementary School I, of the Degree in Biological Sciences course at a Public University, which was developed in a public school in the interior of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The objective of the proposal is to develop a Pedagogical Intervention Project (PIP), called “Science Circuit”, with students in the second cycle of Elementary School. The project was characterized by the development and applicability of experimental activities, in order to bring science closer to the students' daily lives. With the results obtained, it was possible to achieve this approach, along with a reflective look at the students, regarding the importance of developing and using experimental classes that provide the opportunity for the development of scientific knowledge in a more attractive, investigative and meaningful way.
