A method is described which uses peroxidase‐labeled antibody for the measurement of rat IgG antigenic determinants present on the surface of rat lymphoid cells. With this method it was possible to calculate that each lymphoid cell carrying IgG possesses approximately 224 000 IgG antigenic determinants on its surface. The method gave reproducible results with different preparations of peroxidase‐labeled antibody.
