Explores carbon ignition in fallback disk impacting tidal disruption event outcomes, suggesting significant implications for astrophysical models.
A class of delayed radio flares from tidal disruption events (TDEs) -- 'black-hole burps' brightening months to years after the optical flare (e.g. Cendes et al. 2024) -- is not predicted by standard accretion models. We ask whether, within the One-Octonion Brane-Bulk framework, these represent (a) the shredding of protostars or (b) carbon ignition in the fallback disk, and argue for (b). A TDE places ~half the star -- including its carbon/oxygen core -- into a fallback disk. The G2 Floquet bulk-excursion fusion channel (Paper CCLXII) enhances C12+C12 by ~1e25 (bulk excursion action S_exc=3.30 hbar vs Gamow 61.7 hbar) and, per Paper CCLXXIV, lowers carbon ignition from ~6e8 K to ~7e7 K. Crucially the Floquet channel is a sharp ON/OFF resonance (winding W=2 vs 0; Paper CCXXIV): it fires abruptly when disk conditions cross the G2 ratio condition, naturally producing a delayed, sudden turn-on rather than a smooth rise. Energy budget: carbon burning releases 5.6e17 erg/g, so igniting 1e-3 to 1e-1 Msun of core debris yields 1e48 to 1e50 erg -- exactly the observed delayed-flare energetics, requiring only a plausible CO-core mass fraction. Timing: the delay is the disk build-up/viscous/core-fallback time ~0.02-1.4 yr for plausible disk parameters -- order-of-magnitude consistent with the observed ~0.5-3 yr delays (not parameter-free). The decisive falsifiable discriminator is a nucleosynthetic fingerprint: carbon ignition (b) must imprint the Fe-group / 59Co->59Ni / delta(61Ni) signature (Papers CLII, CCLXXIV) and the elevated C/O ceiling (Paper CCLXXV) on the delayed-flare ejecta, whereas protostar shredding (a) or a standard delayed outflow would not. Honest scope: this is a new synthesis (no single prior paper makes it); it competes with the standard delayed-outflow interpretation; the load-bearing assumption is that the fallback disk reaches the Floquet resonance condition; timing is order-of-magnitude only.
