Abstract The quarantine insect species, the oak lace bug Corythucha arcuata (Say, 1832), is reported for the first time from Belarus. Both nymphs and adults were found feeding on English oak ( Quercus robur L.). Further research is required to determine the current distribution and assess the pest status of C. arcuata within the country. This new finding expands the species list of the family Tingidae in Belarus to 34 species.
