Case report shows dapsone effectively manages idiopathic small vessel vasculitis in a male patient, implying potential for long-term therapy.
A 29-year-old male with recurrent idiopathic cutaneous small vessel vasculitis of the lower limbs responded to dapsone 50 mg twice a day. Any attempt at reducing the dose led to a recurrence of the rash. He continues on dapsone 11 years on without side effects.
