Examines dynamic behavior and reinforcement effects on cylindrical shell vibrations, suggesting implications for design improvements.
This paper examines the dynamic behavior of a structurally inhomogeneous cylindrical shell with various types of structural reinforcement. Natural vibrations of shells reinforced with transverse frames and longitudinal discrete stringers are considered. Using ANSYS Workbench 2023R , eigenfrequencies and vibration modes were determined under various boundary conditions, and the influence of reinforcement parameters on the system's dynamic characteristics was numerically analyzed. The validity of the results was confirmed by comparison with known theoretical and experimental data. The results obtained can be used in the design and dynamic analysis of thin-walled shell structures.
