Presents Research Finder, an AI tool that enhances paper discovery across multiple platforms, indicating potential for improved academic accessibility.
This paper presents Research Finder, a full-stack web application that unifies academic paper search across Semantic Scholar, arXiv, OpenAlex, and PubMed — over 500 million papers — through a single free interface. The system uses the BART language model via HuggingFace to generate plain-English summaries of paper abstracts. Features include APA citation generation, CSV export, and keyword highlighting. The project was built in 7 days using prompt engineering with Claude AI during an internship at DOE Digitals, Bengaluru. Source code: https://github.com/Vishwa31012004/research-paper-bot
