This working preprint introduces D-TOC as an ontological architecture for explaining how raw pre-phenotypic capacity may become pattern, stability, threshold, phenotype, reading, and resonance. The framework defines the D-token as the elementary unit of capacity and uses this grammar to re-read open questions concerning the quantum vacuum, dark matter, star-formation thresholds, the arrow of time, the origin of life, and consciousness. D-TOC is not presented here as a finished mathematical theory, but as a conceptual architecture and research programme intended to connect unresolved questions in physics, cosmology, biology, and consciousness studies with a language of capacity, emergence, and readable reality.
