Manifesto explores solidarity in trans organizing to shape a liberatory future for trans individuals.
If trans history has a future, it is we who will shape it, and yet who this “we” is, and the shape of what we fight for is always being contested. This essay takes the form of a manifesto to call for particular forms of solidarity, picking them up as they thread through the archives and oral histories of trans organizing and through the present moment. The transfuturism of these histories lies in the ways they point toward liberatory trans futures and in the hope that these solidarities, the living legacy of our history, will carry us there.
