Randomized trial investigates tripartite entanglement in higher-winding topological defects, suggesting observable implications.
In earlier work, spin‑1/2 particles were identified with unit‑winding topological solitons(skyrmions) in an SU(2) field. The global conservation of winding number, together withrotational invariance of the vacuum, forces a pair created from the vacuum into the spinsinglet. Here we extend the framework to higher winding numbers. Solitons with topologicalcharge Q=±2 are shown to carry spin‑1, i.e.\ they behave as bosons. When a $Q=+2$double knot and two $Q=-1$ anti‑knots are created from the vacuum, rotational invarianceand charge conservation require the system to be in a total spin‑zero state. We constructthe explicit three‑body wave function using standard angular‑momentum coupling. Theresulting state exhibits genuine tripartite entanglement with specific spin‑spincorrelations that are a direct consequence of the topological constraint. Thesecorrelations can be tested in hadronic reactions or engineered magnetic skyrmion systems, providing a falsifiable signature of the topological defect model.
