ABSTRACTTraditional liquid facewashes contain synthetic preservatives, generate plastic waste, and lack portability. The development of a novelfacewash tablet utilizing Eleusine coracana (Ragi), Camellia sinensis (Green tea), and Aloe barbadensis (Aloe vera) as activeingredients aims to provide a portable, eco-friendly, and sustainable alternative to liquid facewashes. Ragi has mild mechanicalexfoliation and antioxidants (phenolic compounds, Vitamin E and flavonoids) which help improve skin texture, pigmentation, andelasticity. Green tea enhances the formulation with polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which exhibitsantimicrobial, strong antioxidant, and anti- inflammatory activity. Aloe vera enhances hydration, skin repair and makes theformulation suitable for irritated and sensitive skin.
