Demonstrates effective propagation techniques for Nicotiana tobacco ‘K326’, suggesting optimized growth methods for horticulture.
Using stems with buds as explants, we studied the optimal tissue culture conditions for the rapid propagation of Nicotiana tobacco ‘K326’. MS medium with 2 mg·L⁻¹ 6-BA, 0.2 mg·L⁻¹ NAA, 30 g·L⁻¹ sugar and 6 g·L⁻¹ agar was suitable for callus induction and proliferation of bud clusters. The rate of rooting reached 100% on MS medium with sugar and agar, and the survival rate of the plants reached 100% after transplanting to soil.
