Corrigendum reveals data correction on patient recruitment in paediatric patients with health complaints, suggesting implications for clinical practices.
R. B. Lygre, J. R. Andersen, R. Gjestad, H. Helgeland, G. Greve, and I. B. Elgen, “Paediatric Patients With Multiple Referrals and Complex Health Complaints Experienced Notable Functional Impairment,” Acta Paediatrica 115 (2026): 107–116. https://doi.org/10.1111/apa.70278. Upon further inspection of the data in this paper, we have discovered that a portion of the patients described in this paper (n = 37) were recruited following outpatient consultations at the neurological or the gastroenterological department at the hospital and not from the lists of newly referred patients as described in the paper and originally planned for. As a result of these discoveries, Figure 1 is changed accordingly to better reflect how the patients were recruited. All patients, regardless of whether they were included from the lists of newly referred patients or following outpatient consultations at the Pediatric department, still satisfied the inclusion criteria.
