Short communication introduces the LIQ/7/2833 database with 2833 records for liquefaction analysis, enabling advanced evaluations.
Data-driven liquefaction triggering evaluation models rely on large and well-curated case history databases. A comprehensive global database that consolidates records across different in-situ test types empowers such model establishment. In this context, this short communication introduces LIQ/7/2833, a comprehensive global liquefaction database comprising 2833 historical records across 15 countries. This database is considered comprehensive as it aggregates records from three common types of in-situ tests for liquefaction assessment: the standard penetration test, cone penetration test, and shear wave velocity measurements. Each record incorporates 6 soil parameters as well as 1 liquefaction indicator. This communication firstly describes the structure, scope, and basic statistics of the database, and then presents an exploratory data analysis highlighting key distributions and inter-variable correlations. Furthermore, the value and potential applications of the database for advancing liquefaction triggering evaluation and supporting data-driven approaches are discussed. The Excel file that contains the LIQ/7/2833 database can be downloaded from the following Mendeley link: https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/rmjnghdrbv/3 .
