Novel structure enhances electromagnetic wave absorption in a self-stacked nitrogen-doped carbon matrix.
Multiple Polarization In article number e70892, Pengfei Liu, Shuoyang Qiu, Yanglong Hou, Zhenhui Ma, and co-workers constructed a novel self-stacked structure via stacking nonporous and porous nitrogen-doped carbon (NC) nanosheets, in which Co particles and single atoms are co-modified on the matrix. In such micrometre-scale heterogeneous interfaces model, the asymmetric charge densities and varying interfacial distance between nonporous and porous NC layers induce abundant polarization centres to absorb electromagnetic wave, especially at middle-frequency.
