Jagananna Amma Vodi: A Case Study on the Implementation and Impact of a Welfare Scheme in Andhra Pradesh examines the effectiveness of the Andhra Pradesh Government’s flagship educational welfare programme, Jagananna Amma Vodi. The study evaluates the scheme’s contribution to improving school enrollment, attendance, retention, and educational outcomes among economically disadvantaged families. Based on primary data collected from 1,300 respondents across all 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh, along with secondary data from government sources, the research analyzes the scheme’s impact on reducing dropout rates, enhancing parental participation in education, and promoting socio-economic development. The findings reveal that the scheme has significantly strengthened educational access, increased enrollment and attendance rates, reduced school dropouts, and improved the overall welfare of beneficiary households, thereby contributing to inclusive and sustainable human development in Andhra Pradesh.
