Yue HU (Sun,) conducted a rct in Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) (n=100). Active cycle of breathing technique (ACBT) based on nurse-patient consensus vs. Routine chest physical intervention was evaluated on System evaluation score, arterial blood gas analysis, dyspnea degree, activity tolerance and quality of life (p=<0.05). Active cycle of breathing technique based on nurse-patient consensus significantly improved oxygenation, 6-minute walk distance, and reduced dyspnea and CAT scores compared to routine care (P<0.05).
