Lotus Add-Ins.

A new type of software, add-ins, has been designed to expand the functionality of Lotus 1-2-3 (version 2.0). Add-ins offer features such as word processing, relational database management, optimization, and linear regression that were previously unavailable in this format. These add-In programs are designed in accordance with a strict set of flies and procedures, thereby insuring the integrity of Lotus software. The article presents information about the list of salient features of this software. This list, although not comprehensive, describes the most attractive add In programs available today. A RAM-resident, English language interface for 1-2-3 that could well be thought of as a Lotus upgrade. It makes many aspects of the popular spreadsheet more efficient and adds more features such as spreadsheet auditing, search and replace, and the capability to link multiple worksheets. Shrinks Lotus 1-2-3 and Symphony spreadsheets by as much as 95 percent enabling faster backup, faster transmission, and up to ten times more spreadsheets on your disk.
