Examines nanofluid flow in porous channels, revealing effects on heat and mass transfer.
This study examines nanofluid flow in porous convergent divergent channels with heat and mass transfer effects. The model incorporates magnetic field, thermal radiation, and channel porosity. Suitable transformations are applied to convert the governing equations into a system of nonlinear dimensionless differential equations, which are analyzed numerically. Solutions are developed using the ND Solve (Shooting) method in Mathematica Software. The effects of key parameters, including magnetic parameter, porosity parameter, thermophoresis, Brownian motion, Lewis number, Reynold number, and stretching and shrinking parameter, on velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are investigated. Analysis of parameters of interest is conducted, with conclusions highlighting key outcomes. The result show that velocity of fluid show increasing behavior for shrinking parameter, Reynold number while opposite trends are observed for magnetic field strength, Porosity parameter, Hartmann number for both channels. The thermal radiation show increasing behavior for shrinking parameter, Thermophoresis and Brownian parameters and have diminished the temperature for Reynold number and stretching parameters for convergent./divergent channels. The fluid concentration are observed for different parameters show enhanced and boosted for Hartman number, thermophoresis, Brownian and Lewis number for both convergent and divergent channels. Overall the study finds, the nano particles show a good performance for different significant parameters.
