This theoretical exploration connects social reproduction with overcoming oppression in capitalism, highlighting political implications.
I believe the theory of social reproduction (TSR) is one of the most fruitful frameworks for understanding the body and embodiment, as it develops a comprehensive explanation of class and other subordinations in capitalism, i.e., the connection between exploitation and oppression, as well as their overcoming. To this extent, TSR also has a political dimension: it connects analysis with struggle, that is, with how to overcome the existing system that oppresses, exploits, disables, and incapacitates us, narrows our opportunities and exhausts capacities, devastates nature and the eco-system.
