In single-ended electrostatic accelerators, the ion source system typically operates under a megavolt-level high-voltage platform, imposing extremely high requirements on electrical isolation and the reliability of signal transmission. However, in compact high-voltage environments, optical fiber communication faces the risk of electrical breakdown. To address this issue, this paper designs an ion source measurement and control system based on optical wireless communication (OWC). The system adopts OWC technology to achieve precise control and data acquisition for equipment in the ion source system of DC high-voltage accelerators. At the transmitting end, control and feedback signals are processed and transmitted via optical wireless links; at the receiving end, the reproduction of analog signals is realized. Verified through the construction of an offline test platform, the designed OWC system can stably control key equipment in the ion source system of DC high-voltage accelerators, laying a technical foundation for its future application in the 2.5 MV DC high-voltage accelerator ion source system.
