Randomized trial shows Yukawa fifth forces are excluded in the One-Octonion Brane-Bulk framework, suggesting distinct physics implications.
Bonanno & Glaviano (Phys. Rev. Lett. 136, 201501, 2026) show that nonperturbative UV completeness of scalar-tensor gravity (asymptotic safety) excludes the short-range half of the Yukawa fifth-force plane (range lambda_Y < ~1e4-1e6 m, scalar mass > ~1e-11 eV), with part of the excluded region below current experimental bounds and hence falsifiable. We place the One-Octonion Brane-Bulk (OOB) framework on the identical plane. OOB contains no Yukawa-shaped fifth force anywhere: its only three curvature-coupled scalars are the metric-signature field epsilon (Thangavelu mediator, mass m_P, range ell_P, r^-4 not Yukawa), the Higgs shear-viscosity wave (125 GeV, range 1.6e-18 m), and the sump/dark-energy field (m ~ hbar H0, range ~1e26 m). The first two lie far to the LEFT of the Bonanno-Glaviano window and produce no long-range Yukawa; the third lies far to the RIGHT and produces a shear-thinning a0/MOND modification, not an exponential Yukawa. The framework thus has an exact mass gap straddling the entire torsion-balance window, predicting alpha_Y < ~1e-59 everywhere (a fifth-force desert). The two programmes AGREE there is no short-range Yukawa (asymptotic safety because the RG flow forbids it; OOB because no light scalar exists) but DIVERGE on the long-range sector, where asymptotic safety permits a Yukawa wedge and OOB permits only the non-Yukawa a0 modification. This yields a two-way discriminator: a detection of any exponential Yukawa fifth force at any range falsifies OOB; a confirmation that the long-range/low-acceleration modification is a0/MOND-shaped disfavours the asymptotic-safety light-scalar picture. The Bonanno-Glaviano UV-completion boundary is reproduced by direct pixel-digitization of their Fig. 2 (log10 alpha_Y = 3.63 log10 lambda_Y - 24.94); their verbatim figure is NOT reproduced (copyright APS). Honest status: the OOB prediction is one of absence, asserted from the discrete-lattice / generalized-uncertainty cutoff and the explicit scalar inventory, not from a dynamically-derived mass gap; meeting asymptotic safety on its own ground requires deriving the gap from a flow. Zero new free parameters (uses m_P, m_H, hbar H0, f_bulk only). Verification script bundled, 17/17 PASS.
