Investigates transport dynamics in squeezed couple-stress nanofluids, suggesting novel applications in fluid technology.
Squeezed flow turn out to be substantial in numerous industrial procedures, for illustration molding, lubrication and coatings, where regulated gap variations between movable boundaries are indispensable. Besides, squeezed flows are noteworthy in microfluidic devices design and manufacturing processes (elastomeric and polymeric). This scrutiny accounts couple-stress squeezed nanoliquid flow between two parallel convective-stratified walls. Buoyancy-driven magnetohydrodynamic flow is formulated. Transport expressions are modified in frames of dual diffusive generalized fluxes. Chemical reaction term is also modified due to generalized fluxes consideration. With the help of appropriate similarity variables, the system of nonlinear partial differential equations is simplified to a set of dimensionless ordinary differential equations. The bvp4c scheme is used to obtain numerical solutions of governing equations. The effect of the important dimensionless parameters against velocity, temperature and concentration profiles including the couple stress parameter, magnetic parameter, squeezing parameter, thermal and solutal stratification parameters, Brownian diffusion parameter, thermophoresis diffusion parameter, Schmidt number and thermal and solutal relaxation time parameters are systematically analyzed. Increasing the magnetic and couple stress parameters cause a decrease in the velocity of fluids in the lower part of the channel and an increase in the upper part. Also, when the squeezing parameter is increased, the velocity of the nanofluid increases. A rise in squeezing parameter and thermal stratified parameter would result in the weakening of temperature profile. The concentration decreases for escalating Schmidt number, thermophoretic diffusion parameter and solutal stratification parameter.
