Study emphasizes the need for lifelong learning in surgical dentistry, highlighting improved practitioner competence.
Continuing medical education is one of the most important mechanisms for maintaining and improving the professional competence of dentists in surgical dentistry. Surgical dentistry is a rapidly developing field that requires constant renewal of clinical knowledge, technical skills, diagnostic thinking, ethical responsibility, and patient safety culture. The article discusses the importance of lifelong learning, competency-based professional development, clinical case analysis, simulation training, digital education, mentoring, and reflective practice.
