Finds a continuous morphology manifold in galaxies, suggesting a new classification method.
Using a sample of 1,048,055 galaxies, we investigate whether galaxy morphology is better described as a continuous manifold rather than a discrete Hubble sequence. The analysis reveals smooth transitions and structured population flows across morphological states, supporting the existence of a continuous morphology manifold that extends beyond the traditional Hubble classification.
