Theoretical analysis highlights diversity and inclusion in nursing education, indicating improved care delivery.
Diversity and inclusion in nursing education are essential conditions for preparing nurses who can provide ethical, culturally competent and patient-centered care. Modern health systems serve people with different ethnic, linguistic, religious, gender, age, disability, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Therefore, nursing education must not only transmit clinical knowledge, but also form students’ sensitivity to human differences, social justice, communication barriers and unequal access to health care. This article theoretically analyzes the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in nursing education. The article examines the conceptual foundations of inclusive nursing education, pedagogical methods, expected outcomes and barriers to implementation.
