Abstract “Uralmashzavod” PJSC proposed technical solutions for the refurbishment of decommissioned support rolls for the 1300 cold rolling mill of VIZ-Stal LLC and the 1400 cold rolling mill of NLMK: Novolipetsk Steel PJSC, ensuring their high performance throughout their entire life cycle. Operational results of refurbished backup rolls in the heavily loaded industrial mills of both companies convincingly confirmed their high reliability and resilience to accidents and emergencies. Given the shortage of rolls, restoring their performance using bandaging serves as a reserve for Russian metallurgical companies, significantly improving the efficiency of rolling production and the quality of finished products.
