Proposes a novel control optimisation framework for power quality in renewable energy systems, indicating accuracy benefits.
To promote sustainable energy production and support the development of renewable energy systems, this paper proposes a novel automatic detection and control optimisation framework based on electric springs and empirical wavelet transform. The principle of reactive power compensation realised by electric springs based on voltage vector relationships is analysed, and a topology optimisation scheme is proposed. The optimised electric spring can compensate for voltage disturbances within an operating range of 185.3 V-258.8V, showing improvement compared to the original reactive power compensation control.Simulation results show that the instantaneous frequency of the voltage sag signal jumps at 0.399 s and 0.651 s, with actual errors of 0.25% and 0.15%, respectively. The small errors indicate that the start and end times of the voltage sag are accurately detected. This demonstrates that the power quality detection and control method proposed in this paper has high accuracy and significant advantages.
