Technical study examines integrated testing platform effectiveness in electric vehicle systems, suggesting improved accuracy in vehicle testing.
To fill the gap in integrated testing equipment for the three-electric and thermal management systems and meet the requirements of conducting "whole vehicle class" tests at the system level, this manuscript details a technical study focused on the integrated testing platform for the three-electric and thermal management systems. First, a configuration scheme for the testing platform was proposed, and the construction of the physical platform was completed. Second, an optimized method for precise control of engine compartment airflow was selected and experimentally validated. The results indicated that after adopting the model predictive control (MPC) method, the root-mean-square error of the transient air supply control decreased from 28% to 14%. The temperature deviation of the core components under thermal equilibrium conditions between the system platform and the actual vehicle environment chamber is only 1-2°C, and the total mileage deviation under high-temperature China Light Vehicle Test Cycle conditions is only 4.28%.
