Study studies the structure of superheavy nuclei, highlighting their unique density distributions.
The single-particle structure of near-spherical superheavy nuclei from the region Z ≤ 126, N ≤ 246 and a hypothetical hyperheavy nucleus _308^472164 was studied in the dispersive optical model. The calculation results correspond to the magic numbers N = 126, 148, 164, 178, 184, 228, and 246 and Z = 82, 92, 114, 120, and 126 and the double magicity of the _308^472164 nucleus. The neutron density distribution shows depletion in the center (semibubble structure) at 164 ≤ N ≤ 178, and the proton density distribution shows depletion at r ≈ 2 fm at 114 ≤ Z ≤ 120. The proton density depletion of the _308^472164 nucleus affects almost the entire volume of the nucleus unlike in superheavy nuclei and increases toward the center of the nucleus starting from the periphery.
