Investigates dielectric properties in multicomponent ceramics, suggesting potential applications.
Single-phase multicomponent ceramic samples of new compositions (Na1/2Bi1/2)(Ti1/4Zr1/4 B _1/4^5 + B _1/4^1 + )O3 (B5+ = Nb, Ta; B1+ = K, Na) modified with a KCl additive have been prepared by solid-state synthesis. Their crystal structure, coherent scattering regions, microstructure, and dielectric properties were studied. A phase with a perovskite structure and a pseudocubic unit cell was shown to form in all modified samples. The ferroelectric phase transitions in the ceramics were confirmed by dielectric spectroscopy measurements.
