Evaluates precut systems for enhancing productivity in interior construction, suggesting process improvements.
This study evaluates the effectiveness of precut systems for light gauge steel framing and gypsum boards in interior wall construction. By comparing conventional and precut construction methods across multiple floors of a steel-framed office building, the study analyzes labor efficiency, waste reduction, and material logistics. Results indicate that precut methods reduce material waste and improve work consistency. The findings suggest that precut systems can enhance construction productivity and standardization in interior works, with potential as a foundational strategy for future process optimization.
