Abstract The current work has looked at the impacts of several single and combination double mordanting on the dyeability and colour fastness properties of cotton khadi fabric coloured utilising aqueous Neem Leaves extract as a natural dye. Using harda and potash alum as mordants; dried Neem leaf colour extraction conditions are optimised. Relevant findings show that a 15% total harda and potash alum ratio at 75:25. good colour fastness compared to other combinations. Following the completion of the mordants, the dyeing process variables were examined in order to standardise the conditions for dying cotton khadi fabric with aqueous Neem leaf extract. The outcomes show that there are standardised variations in dyeing conditions.
