The article discusses methodological approaches to assessing the readiness of manufacturing commercial organizations for the digital transformation of management systems. The necessity of a comprehensive assessment of enterprise readiness based on the analysis of technological, organizational, personnel, and financial factors is substantiated. The author's assessment methodology, which includes 25 criteria in five areas, is proposed. The results of testing the methodology at three manufacturing enterprises are presented. Practical recommendations for applying the methodology for various types of enterprises are formulated
