Abstract Laws pertaining to child rights and protection are essential for preserving children's growth, well-being, and dignity, especially in situations when they are disadvantaged and vulnerable. The successful realization of children's rights is nevertheless hampered by gaps in implementation, awareness, and service accessibility despite the existence of extensive legislative frameworks. Social workers have a crucial role in bridging the gap between practice and policy in this situation. This essay explores the various ways that social workers use advocacy, intervention, and capacity-building strategies to promote child rights and protection legislation. In order to ensure that children and their families are aware of their rights and entitlements, the study emphasizes how social workers support legal awareness, community mobilization, and policy advocacy. In addition to easing access to child protection systems including child welfare committees, juvenile court procedures, and support programs, it delves deeper into their role in spotting and handling situations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. The study also highlights how crucial interdisciplinary cooperation between social workers, lawyers, governmental organizations, and civil society groups is to improving the efficacy of child protection frameworks. Through research, policy input, and program development, social workers who take a rights-based and child-centered approach not only assist individual cases but also have an impact on systemic change. The study comes to the conclusion that social workers must continue their advocacy, service delivery, and policy engagement efforts in order to strengthen child rights and protection laws, which will ultimately help create a more welcoming and safer environment for all children.
