Abstract

Volume 4 is the scaling volume of the Atlas. It follows the first disclosure of consciousness as internal coherence under closure, the Atlas front gate of rungs and epistemic tiers, and the organismic grounding of Volume 3. Its task is to test whether and how consciousness-related structures scale beyond the individual organism.Consciousness scales responsibly only where coherence scales.
