Global Synergy: Unveiling Cross-Cultural University Collaborations Through Bibliometric

Cross-cultural collaboration among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is pivotal to developing global education and research since HEIs are central to intellectual development and scientific discovery for resolving complex global issues. Bibliometric analysis was applied in this study to unpack the dynamics of cross-cultural collaboration among HEIs, highlighting the annual scientific production and citations, and globally relevant scholarly works, the key research hubs, leading concepts explored, how the focus of cross-cultural collaboration studies evolved based on co-word networks, and recommending future research paths. Findings indicated that specific years saw peaks in the number of articles published, citation impact, and influential publications and research hubs. The study recommends that HE stakeholders and policymakers foster collaborative networks among HEIs, and further research paths were highlighted to enhance the research attention on cross-cultural collaboration among HEIs.
