Music education in tertiary education has been changing in recent years with the introduction of technological tools and devices, inclusive practices and methods to ensure better engagement and motivation among the students. This study will discuss how all these factors change the modern Folk Music Education (FME). Using a quantitative design, 300 students and 105 instructors were observed to determine Technology Integration (TI), Inclusive Classrooms (IC) and Student Motivation (SM). The study was tested with the help of six hypotheses. The findings indicated that there is a great connection between the use of technology and attained rich learning experiences in teaching folk music. Motivation emerged as a key predictor of performance when combined with inclusive activities and teacher encouragement. The research recognises the synergic efforts of digital platforms, inclusive pedagogy and engagement to form a contemporary folk music development. The findings of this study contribute significantly to educators, curriculum developers, and policy makers in their endeavours for more relevant, inclusive and culturally sensitive FME.
