This study explores the critical issue of bribery within enterprise management systems through the lens of business ethics. This highlights the prevalence of bribery and the ethical challenges it presents to organizations, emphasizing the necessity of conducting thorough bribery risk analyses. The main aim of this research is to explore the extent to which Slovak business enterprises perform bribery risk analysis and whether it is considered an effective tool to identify potential opportunities for bribery in enterprise management systems. It asserts that the systematic identification of vulnerabilities through bribery risk analysis not only enhances ethical practices but also mitigates organizational risks. This research was conducted on a sample of 802 Slovak enterprises. The results present a conceptual framework for understanding bribery risk, examining vulnerable areas within enterprise operations, and discussing methodologies for an effective bribery risk analysis. It also reflects on the future directions and limitations of current approaches, advocating for the integration of advanced technologies and a culture of integrity. Ultimately, the findings underscore the significance of bribery risk analysis in fostering ethical governance and ensuring compliance within enterprises.
